My family and I cannot say enough about how incredible Martino and his team are!!! The memories we’ve made here will last a lifetime due to the amazing food, atmosphere and friendly staff. We’ve celebrated my dad’s retirement and hosted my rehearsal dinner here among many other family dinners.

Pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and hospitality at this quaint restaurant. We attended a party here and the amount of food surpassed some weddings we've attended stateside. We appreciated the variety and uniqueness of the appetizers that were shared family style. Pasta and entrees were tasty and portions were overly abundant. We enjoyed the intermezzo of lemon sorbet to cleanse the palate between courses. The after dinner liquors offered by the host/owner were a nice touch. We can't recommend Il Monello enough.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at IL Monello Restaurant in Peapack, NJ, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor beautifully captures the essence of authentic Italian charm. The menu is a delightful journey through Italy, featuring a range of classic dishes that are expertly prepared. I started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and bursting with flavor. For my main course, I opted for the homemade fettuccine Alfredo, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—creamy, rich, and perfectly al dente. The service was impeccable; our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive, making excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. To top it off, the dessert selection is a must-try! The tiramisu was light, fluffy, and the perfect ending to our meal. IL Monello is a true gem in Peapack, NJ, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their incredible menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience!

Bravo!!!! Such an amazing experience. Food quality superb, portions are hearty and the energy put into the experience was top notch. We had a large party of 11. Appetizers of burrata, calamari, meat balls were so tender and melted in your mouth. My fav zucchini flowers!!! The food was piping hot and the dessert was a nice sweet special lime and raspberry sorbet Everyone enjoyed their meals and we couldn’t have been happier. A true gem in Peapack. We brought 4 bottles of wine and even purchased one from the chef owner Martino couldn’t have been more perfect. Don’t walk. Run.

You really won’t find a place with more friendly and generous service than Il Monello. And the food is somehow even better. They start everyone off with complimentary cheese, salami, and a really good eggplant dish with your bread. We got a complimentary appetizer along with the ones we ordered and complementary sorbet for dessert. They were also extremely willing to making substitutions and changing things in a dish for us. Every dish was so good, can’t say anything bad. I recommend the arancini rice balls appetizer and gnocchi for sure!

An unforgettable dining experience....fun and delicious surprises throughout the meal. Incredibly generous portions - every bite was scrumptious. The service was impeccable. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. We will be back and next time hope to leave room for dessert. Bravo!!!

Immaculately prepared and absolutely delicious food. Chicago has some Italian restaurants that I like, however, nothing holds a candle compared to the food at IL Monello. Each dish was an amazing experience for flavor, texture, and smell. From the appetizer to the dessert, the entire meal was a feast for all the senses. Unfortunately, our order was slightly delayed compared to our neighbors despite us ordering first. However, this was rectified with a complimentary wine for the table. So service was very good to us that night! Would come again whenever Mendham reappears in the flight itinerary.

Happened upon this place while driving through town with my two friends. Martino and his staff were so warm and welcoming. Food was delicious! If you’re looking for great Italian food in the area, this is the place to be!
